Elaine listed and sold my mother-in-law’s condominium for almost $50,000 over asking at a time when the market was pretty flat. My mother-in-law is over eighty, and was extremely anxious about the listing and sale of the condo where she had lived for 20 years and about her move to a retirement home. Elaine gently persuaded her that the condo would sell for more if she would agree to have it painted, replace the worn carpet and the dated appliances. When my mother-in-law agreed, Elaine worked closely with a stager (also wonderful) to make sure that the condo looked its best, reassuring my mother-in-law along the way. When five offers came in, Elaine guided us through the late evening sale with patience and clarity. She was also tough when she needed to be with a belligerent real estate agent who represented the top bidder. After the sale, Elaine kept in touch with my mother-in-law, checking to see that she was settling in to the retirement home and that she was happy with everything that happened. I can't thank Elaine enough and I recommend her highly.
